"The year is 2090, buildings have crumbled where a great city once stood.What is left of this place is sand for miles. The only thing that comes close to nature is a few palm trees here and there, scavenger birds flying overhead, and me. She told me it would come to this, feared this would happen. She was right about parks in museums as well.
I am the last of my kind, and she was the last of her kind, of the ancient ones. What I hold in my hand is her heart, protected my glass. She told me that if i held on to her heart i may be able hold on to the magic that used to thrive, to hold one the memory of an enchanted place of long ago. Here is is! My entry for the Technology and Nature contest held by *kuschelirmel-stock Yes i have a fear of flying cars, i no longer see fairys enjoying my garden, and by 2035 the bees will gone if scientist do not find out what is making them disappear. I do believe in the technology of health and science. I don't belive in seeing bulidings replace forest,orchards, gardens everytime i look out my window. I don't see people enjoying the tranquilty of a picnic or walk in the park.We need hold on to the magic of the fantasy relm and the magic of nature. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
